The more I looked at my layout the more I began to realize how vain (and therefore boring) it seems to have my picture on every post, so I am now working on a way to implement pictures that vary according to the category of the post.
Right now, there are little numbers where the pictures should go because I am still in the process of debugging (and learning PHP in the process). Of course I would love to work on my little project into the night, but my other obligations must take priority. So, just ignore the little numbers for now.
Any advice is certainly welcome.

Have a picture for each category. Family Values would have one kind of picture, Geek Stuff would have a different one.
That’s sort of what I’ve got going on now. The code is right, but I haven’t had the time — tax season — to completely implement the pictures.
