You are very close to being spot on the mark. You know us and our policies. We don't just delink and bann people for differing opinions. Despite the fact that there are many other issues I discovered I disagreed with him on, there are many reasons that went into my decision to delink him. The main one is the fact you mentioned. He has so many people following him. When I post something, people demand facts to back them up. He just spouts out an uninformed opinion bashing a book he had no way of reading, since he states he got it in the mail that very day.

Second, I've sent him several emails with links of questionable acts of the ACLU...and have many on my site. I see now why he never linked to them. Perhaps I should have just quitely delinked him...I mean, I'm feeling the backlash. INDC and Volokh are asking me to delink them too. The difference between those sites however is that they provide a forum of debate. Comments. Glenn doesn't even offer trackbacks. Malkin even has trackbacks.

However, I announced it. But I thought I would be announcing it to my thousand or so readers I get a day...not the entire blogosphere. He decided to link to it, and suprisingly sent me a lot of haters, and a handful of supporters. So I gained from it, since the fact is that I didn't lose any supporters at all over it.

It really caused more of controversy than I expected. I've been kind of careless in how I worded a lot of stuff on that post. I'll be posting a new post later tonight explaining things better. I really didn't expect such a huge response, both positive and negative. anyway, no one is banned at my site. I offer my comment section to all, including Glenn. So he can come to MY site and debate me if he wants. I provide a place of debate...he only ignores emails.
